About Us
Our resources include national technology integration specialists who inventory and map existing technology infrastructure and needs, and design short- and long-term technical solutions that support applicant educational initiatives. Because two of our specialists are licensed attorneys who have served as the chief technology officer and senior procurement officer for a large school district, we have a unique approach to solving school district challenges that involve technology planning, procurement, deployment, and maintenance.
Ms. Williams is a graduate of Amherst College and the University of Chicago School of Law.
The ConnectED Consulting team is led by Elaine L. Williams, a Chicago attorney and former Chief Technology Officer for one of the country's largest school districts, where she obtained, managed, and successfully defended $350 million in E-Rate funds.
Ms. Williams has more than a decade of experience helping school districts understand and comply with E-Rate rules and requirements. She also has extensive experience as an E-Rate service provider, having provided legal and E-Rate compliance services to a national company specializing in K-12 educational technology for more than four years. Her responsibilities included auditing and performing E-Rate compliance oversight for school districts across the country and in the Caribbean.
